Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work for a global financial services company in San Francisco. This person will provide full cycle project management responsibilities to the marketing department, from initial planning to product implementation and launch.
Responsibilities Include
Develop and manage marketing projects ranging in scope and complexity, partnering closely with cross-functional teams including Retail, Institutional Channel Management, Sales Strategy, Human Resources and Finance.
Provide support and project management expertise to two managers, each focused on distinct objectives.
Translate high level departmental goals into actionable and understandable requirements.
Support and fill in for marketing directors on an ad hoc basis.
Work cross-functionally to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Perform operational tasks as needed including departmental communications, resource planning, coordinating agendas, and fast-tracking high priority requests.
Skills Required
5+ years of marketing project management experience within the financial services industry
Quality assurance experience and understanding of brand guidelines, legal and compliance requirements, and the ability to manage sensitive information
Experience in MS Office Suite, particularly with strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel
Proven success managing projects ranging in scope and difficulty, including strategy, planning, setting and adhering to appropriate timelines and process management
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond quickly and effectively to multiple stakeholders including senior level management
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a successful track record of providing concise status updates both verbal and via written reports
Proven ability to interface with and influence people on tactical and strategic issues
Skills Preferred
Experience with advertising and online programs
History of partnering with in-house creative teams and working with third party vendors
Proficiency in financial budgeting and tracking
PMP certification
Timing: 5+ months, 40 hours (5 days)
Start: ASAP
Location: San Francisco, CA, onsite
