Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Compensation Consultant to work for a large bank in San Francisco. Consultant will provide analysis, consultation, and operational support to help strategize, design and deliver a compensation program for a business unit.
Responsibilities Include
Review the business unit’s current compensation administration and develop recommendations, including opportunities to improve application of pay-for-performance philosophy and tactics to help level pay differences.
Evaluate opportunities to more strategically focus on specific job titles to align with business priorities and further incent performance.
Prepare business leaders for the annual focal review by summarizing the compensation profile and opportunities within each business group.
Partner with current Compensation and HR consultants to help administer the compensation program.
Develop and deliver ad hoc reports to support administration of the compensation program.
Solve complex compensation issues, including potential risks over the next 12-18 months (e.g. labor market changes), and how to best incent leadership.
Skills Required
5+ years of compensation analysis experience working in a large, highly matrixed organization.
Experience in framing and collaboratively solving highly complex compensation problems through quantitative and qualitative analysis in a team-based environment.
Deep interest in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making.
Excellent communications skills.

Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Director of User Experience Design to work for a global computer software company in Mountain View, CA. This individual will be responsible for managing an international team of design professionals, developing and re-vitalizing software products, web services and mobile offerings, and ensuring that the company provides its customers with a compelling, intuitive and enjoyable product experience.
Responsibilities Include
Drive and evangelize the practice of strong user-centered design (UCD) principles across products and teams.
Manage, motivate and coach a team of 12 design professionals currently located in Taipei, Taiwan.
Lead the team to research, synthesize and translate customer and business needs into a product that attracts target customers.
Plan, manage and drive the execution of a User Research Plan to establish product design goals and iterative feedback loops.
Determine when it is necessary to qualify design decisions with quantifiable end-user data, and coordinate with others to obtain the necessary data.
Articulate product design strategies and solutions to gather feedback and gain alignment from internal and external stakeholders.
Continuously work to improve product development and cross-functional processes to ensure we are using relevant current best practices for designing and developing software.
Represent end users in all phases of product development to ensure products exceed end user expectations for fulfilling their needs.
Actively seek out collaboration and ideas with other team members and cross-functional groups during all phases of product development, including Product Management, Development and Marketing Teams.
Maintain an awareness of current trends in interaction design and competitive software to identify opportunities to enhance the user experience of company products.
Skills Required
7+ years of experience leading design teams for packaged software products.
Deep understanding of, and proven experience evangelizing the core principles and practice of User Centered Design.
Demonstrated ability to be a player/coach; effectively lead and manage a team, but also provide direct input and value as an individual contributor.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multinational team environment and foster a collaborative, creative team dynamic with a geographically disperse team.
Experience planning and conducting user research and disseminating results to broad audiences and the proven ability to successfully drive improved designs as a result of that research.
Consistent record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment and demonstrated positive product reviews by both media and customers.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of all major graphics and digital imaging tools.
Ability to travel internationally 1-2 weeks, 4 times/year.
Must present a portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of and passion for experience design.

Sage Consulting Associates is looking for an Associate Project Manager to work for a large bank in San Francisco. The consultant will be responsible for supporting and executing conversion projects involving changes to lines of credit products impacting high net worth clients.

Responsibilities Include
Support various stages of multiple complex projects involving the change of lines of credit products, including impacts to processes, systems, team members and clients.
Identify, assess and communicate client and team member impact associated with line of credit conversion events.
Coordinate with team to determine project plans, objectives, and timelines.
Create visually compelling PowerPoint presentations, including charts and graphs, which can be used to present to business partners and senior management.
Distill and synthesize information, facts, and data into compelling stories.
Spearhead weekly conversion project status report for senior management distribution.
Attend team meetings and take meeting notes.

Skills Required
5+ years of project management experience with experience in the financial industry.
Superb knowledge of the key components of full project lifecycle, associated tools and methodologies, including: scope, timelines, , , communication, risk and integration.
Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and to develop appropriate work plans into recommendations.
Highly collaborative with demonstrated skills as a key contributing member of a cross-functional team.
Experience working with multi-monthly timelines and executing project plans.
Strong experience with Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
