Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work at a large multinational company that is a leading innovator and designer of consumer electronics and software products in Cupertino, CA. This individual will be working on a complex sales reporting project that will include driving requirements across cross-functional, cross-geo and cross-organizational teams, serving as the subject matter expert of Sales & OM businesses, and acting as the key liaison between the business and information services & technology teams to drive solutions.
Responsibilities Include
Drive requirements across cross-functional, cross-geo and cross-organizational teams.
Serve as subject matter expert of Sales & OM businesses as well as technical understanding are required along with a proven ability to interface successfully between the business and IS&T to shape and deliver business solutions.
Gather and synthesize detailed, global reporting business requirements and design specifications
Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment with consultative direction from management.
Assist business teams with the review of requirements across cross-functional teams and regional teams.
Work with IS&T to assess the impact of any change requests / risks and advise on options to the Project Manager.
Apply functional expertise to assist the business teams with development of test cases and review of test scripts.
Work closely with the Project Manager for the business requirements process, functional review, and user acceptance testing phases.
Skills Required
5+ years of business analysis experience in a large, dynamic corporation
Proven experience within consumer sales / channel / retail reporting and analytics
Demonstrated success “diving deep” into complex projects and challenging business units
Strong knowledge in requirements definition for reporting projects
Experience in metrics definition process and related documentation and governance processes
Demonstrated experience using Business Object


Timing: 6+ months, 40 hrs (5 days)
Start: ASAP
Location: Cupertino, CA, onsite
