Senior Manager, Channel and Field Marketing

The Sr. Manager, Channel and Field Marketing position is a highly
visible role within the marketing group responsible for defining and
implementing [Company]'s worldwide channel and field marketing
strategy. Working closely with sales management and regional managers,
this position will create, execute and drive programs that earn the
mind share of channel partners and raise the visibility of [Company]
to ultimately generate incremental revenue and value for the company.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

Develop a channel and field marketing strategy that delivers a
competitive advantage for [Company]
Leverage market knowledge and all centralized corporate marketing
resources to define and deliver channel marketing plans and programs
in support of strategic goals
Meet with key channel partners to establish strong relationships and
understand their key business issues and requirements
Create channel programs that assist with recruiting, partner
enablement and self sufficiency, including training programs, partner
communications, pipeline generation programs, sales and marketing
tools and incentive programs
Collaborate with regional sales managers to drive channel partner
enablement
Increase communications and raise [Company] visibility with channels
and partners
Effectively manage and drive partners to achieve desired results

Education, Knowledge, Skills
BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5-7 years experience in a channel and/or field marketing role
Strong project and relationship management skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Proven effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Self motivated with demonstrated knowledge of channel and partner
operations
Knowledge of enterprise software and security/compliance industry a
plus
Travel - Approx 20-25%

Position Responsibilities
This newly created position will oversee product related strategies,
roadmap planning and product delivery to further the company's market
and leadership in new strategic areas. The individual will collaborate
with executives and other departments including engineering, corporate

The individual will:

Plan and drive product strategy using in-depth market and competitive
