Sage Consulting Associates is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to work for a leading digital media company in Sunnyvale. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing corporate email strategies and programs to increase user engagement.
Responsibilities Include
Partner with the consumer marketing team to develop email strategies for certain audiences or verticals.
Determine target audience for messaging and how to best reach and engage them.
Write creative briefs and work cross-functionally to develop optimum messages that follow best practices.
Define and initiate A/B and multivariate tests to continuously improve key metrics.
Develop timeline and project manage the email development process.
Partner with email vendor to set-up, test and deploy campaigns.
Leverage vendor capabilities to optimize performance.
Analyze campaign performance against established benchmarks, summarize key insights and recommend improvements.
Skills Required
5+ years of overall experience with 3+ years focused in developing email strategy and executing email campaigns for consumer business
Knowledge of, and experience in, all aspects of email marketing including targeting, delivery implementation, permission-based marketing best practices and metrics
Strong experience in writing compelling creative briefs and messaging strategies for targeted campaigns
Successful history of developing email campaigns informed by customer insights and designed to drive business results
Ability to grasp strategic issues and translate them into plans and opportunities
Demonstrated project management skills
Strong understanding of direct marketing best practices
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel


Timing: 6+ months, 32 hours/week
Start: ASAP
Location: Sunnyvale, CA, onsite
