Job description:

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for the
implementation of the strategic marketing message for the MicroImaging
Applications Group. Power brands of Gatan, Photometrics, QImaging and Media
Cybernetics are integrated with the formation of MAG. S/he partners with
representatives throughout the company to build relationships and
strategies for marketing the programs within and outside of our company.

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for championing the
voice and messaging of the programs via print and online collateral,
website communications, and partner communications. Experience with Web
development, Internet marketing and Content Management Software (CMS
systems) is highly desired. S/he will interface cross-functionally in
support of various marketing, promotional, public relations, and design
initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Market the MAG by working with direct staff and an agency to create
an integrated marketing communications plan.
• Manage the trade show activities of MAG and message / promotion.
• Lead internal/external communication around Product Launch, Ads,
and Promotions at company, including ownership of content.
• Work with Sales team to effectively share our messages around
internal and external media plans.
• Manage the direction of the artistic message and theme associated
with MAG and the individual company / product brands.
• Develop the advertizing plan for MAG and manage its implementation
within budget guidelines.
