PwC's Internal Firm Services (IFS) staff members provide strategic
services to our internal clients in the areas of Administration, Finance,
Human Resources, Information Technology, Infrastructure, Knowledge
Management, Learning & Education (L&E), Marketing & Sales, National Special
Functions, Office of the General Counsel (OGC), and Risk Management.
PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently seeking a qualified individual for
the following position:
PwC's Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing
team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm's priorities and
passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the
marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm.
Job description:
The primary focus of this position is to drive profitable revenue
growth and relationship development efforts for our priority non-audit
clients. The Client Driver will be assigned a portfolio of priority clients
and targets that will be sector aligned, where possible. The Client
Driver will be responsible for working with the Global Engagement
Partner and other team members to drive the account team to stay on track to
achieve the overall account goals. The Client Driver will drive
proposals for their assigned account teams. In addition to assigned priority
account activities, the Client Driver may be assigned larger/strategic
pursuits for other clients, subject to local market resources and
support model. The Client Driver is responsible for sharing
winning practices across the network with their assigned teams.
This position may also serve in some markets as a leader for other
local Client Drivers, providing coaching to other Client Drivers and
day-to-day management of resources and assignments, while maintaining high
utilization on assigned accounts.
Responsibilities:
Drives account management activities for assigned priority non-audit
accounts, drives strategy and executes account plans with check points
throughout the entire fiscal year
Drives account plans and account planning workshops
Tracks revenue, recognizes lack of pipeline for lines of service and is
able to present this information on a regular basis
Provides opportunity suggestions for revenue improvement to the Client
Relationship Executive (CRE) and team leadership
Has a deep understanding of the client's strategies, buying habits,
executives and competitors. Able to conduct client analysis. Reviews
financial information, press releases, quarterly and annual reports to
strategically identify touchpoints. Regularly informs teams on relevant
client reports
Identifies sector-specific and Line of Service (LOS)/business unit
specific client business issues and ensure two-way feedback, collaboration
and interaction with sector/business unit marketing teams Leverages
centrally developed sector and business unit points of view, thought
leadership, collateral, events and other marketing activities
Tracks and manages all thought leadership and other document,
invitations, etc. being sent to contacts at assigned account
Champions the use of firm-wide account and relationship management
principles, pursuit methodologies and tools to drive the overall results of
the account
Drives the use of a master relationship matrix for the client, and
proactively works with team leadership to identify actions.
Follows up on team action items from team meetings, Line of Service
(LOS) calls and account planning workshops (APWs). Proactively works with
team leadership to identify gaps
Proactively teams with key partners, key team members and Client
Relationship
Executives (CREs) to discuss opportunities, activities, etc
Develops account briefs and talking points for partners for client
meetings
Assesses the competitive landscape at the client, how they are
perceived and where they have gained penetration and relationships
Drives the proposal process for assigned clients, including applying a
strategy and developing value propositions for the pursuit
Prepares the client service team for interactions and orals
presentations
May also serve as a leader for other local Client Drivers, providing
coaching, day-to-day management of resources and assignments,
establishing policies and procedures, and serving as liaison to local market
marketing & sales organization and local leadership
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years work experience preferred
Previous experience with proposal writing and delivery process
preferred
Marketing & sales and/or account management experience preferred
Education Requirements:
Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or equivalent experience preferred
