Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Product Manager to work for a software company in Santa Clara. This individual will be responsible for driving product management for the consumer focused store enabling developers to more easily distribute and monetize mobile and desktop applications and services to consumers world wide.

Responsibilities Include
Identify market and business requirements and then support the translation of these requirements into corresponding product requirements.
Manage the UE design and the engineering development and deployment to ensure that the solution meets the defined requirements.
Support the creation of usability studies and identify changes and new requirements needed to deliver a compelling consumer user experience.
Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis.
Conduct data-driven analysis to identify opportunities and support the strategic direction of the business.
Develop and communicate market and product positioning to both internal and external audiences, through the production of marketing tools, presentations and collateral.

Skills Required
5+ years of experience in product management with consumer software products and online commerce.
Proven track record in creating consumer products and content marketplaces.
Ability to formulate and champion long term strategic vision.
Knowledge and understanding of Java technologies.
Experience in developing business plans and product requirements documents (PRDs).
Ability to work in cross-team environments managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Aptitude in using data and quantitative driven approaches to support business decision making.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Timing: 3+ months, 40 hrs (5 days) per week
Start: ASAP
Location: Santa Clara; onsite
Hourly rate: TBD as W-2; (n/a if S-Corp/LLC)
