Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Business Analyst to work for a software company in San Francisco. This individual will be in charge of providing analysis on financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities Include
Create quality business requirements to capture the business process flow.
Focus on the problem domain and scope while working with the Subject Matter Expert to understand and produce business requirements documents.
Document the prioritization of business requests.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications incorporating general systems requirements.
Provide functional expertise and interface to the business.
Analyze business problems to design and document solutions up front while escalating potential issues.
Report action items and deliverables to team members.

Skills Required
5+ years of business analysis experience.
Stong understanding of financial systems (accounting, marketing spend).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a disciplined approach to work, conscientious with good attention to detail.
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems.
Excellent communication with the ability to work well in independent and collaborative environments.

Timing: 6+ months, 40 hrs (5 days) per week
Start: ASAP
Location: San Francisco or San Rafael; onsite
Hourly rate: TBD as W-2; (TBD if S-Corp/LLC)
