Sage Consulting Associates is looking for an Event/Marketing Strategist to work for a large bank in downtown San Francisco. This individual will be responsible for establishing an event strategy/branding initiative focusing on events that provide value to small business owners and highlight the company’s leadership position within the small business market, locally and nationally.

Responsibilities Include

Conceptualize and lead the development of an event strategy in support a branding initiative, targeting small businesses, with a focus on providing value to small business owners through local events in key target markets.
Incorporate strategic branding and communication initiatives that drive media attention to further increase the visibility of the company’s well-established leadership within the market.
Facilitate discussions, synthesize ideas and drive consensus among various internal stakeholders.
Provide project leadership and management from concept to business plan to execution.
Craft compelling recommendations and a business case for senior management review.
Execute a pilot program and analyze overall impact, success and failures.

Skills Required

7+ years of experience creating branding and good will through strategically developed events, targeting small businesses, from concept to business plan to execution for large, highly-visible corporations.
15+ years of creating marketing strategies, key branding initiatives and strategic communications.
Deep knowledge of the small business market.
Strong understanding of the financial industry including: trends, reputations, policies, federal regulations, etc.
Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept to execution.
Demonstrated success influencing key stakeholders and building strong relationships across units.

Skills Preferred

Financial services experience.
