Job description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Marketing will be a key member of the APTTUS team and
will drive the processes of aligning marketing efforts to the
company's strategy and implementing strategic and tactical plans to
meet company objectives. The successful candidate will have
accountability for creating and implementing a go-to-market strategy
and plan that support the company's continued leadership and growth in
its space. The right candidate is self-driven, creative, motivated
and able to contribute across all areas of marketing. This is a
global role.

S/he will develop and execute the current comprehensive marketing plan
and drive results through execution:
* Innovatively supporting the company's strategy to grow the company
across current and new industry and vertical markets by applying
direct, online and guerilla marketing and branding techniques.
* Defining and delivering effective, well-targeted lead generation
programs in support of APTTUS' sales objectives and activities.
* Developing a comprehensive event and promotional program that
support APTTUS' positioning as the leading vendor in its space.
* Develop and enhance APTTUS' various marketing assets including
website, collateral, and related sales and marketing materials.
* Leveraging the company's ecosystem of platform, product and
services partners to drive incremental marketplace momentum for
APTTUS.
* Working collaboratively with the sales and product management
organizations in the definition and execution of product marketing
strategies and plans
* Work closely with sales to develop and prioritize activities.
* Manage all marketing infrastructure

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is a focused, high-energy individual that can
balance both strategic and tactical activity and can prioritize their
efforts across a wide range of responsibilities.
S/he must meet most, if not all, of these requirements and skills:
* Minimum of 5 years of software marketing experience or as a
consultant with a leading consulting firm, ideally with enterprise
software products sold both directly, as well as in conjunction with
channel partners.
* Proven track record for managing a comprehensive marketing plan and
successful, results-oriented B2B marketing programs.
* Direct, hands-on experience with salesforce.com and marketing
automation platforms such as Eloqua, Marketo, or Pardot.
* Highly proficient with vertical industry marketing.
* BA/BS degree is required and an MBA is desirable.

COMPENSATION
Apttus philosophy is to pay above market compensation to the most
talented candidates, composed of base salary, bonus and equity
participation.
