Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Web Design Consultant to work at a large healthcare provider in San Francisco, CA. This individual will create, implement, and be an advocate for the company’s online visual identity.
Responsibilities Include

Create visual designs for emails and banner ads (potentially animated gifs) that reflect and promote the company’s online brand.
Refresh/update existing designs working within existing templates and conventions, but also exploring new solutions.
Rapidly develop visual concepts and “sell” them to internal clients (Product Managers).
Explore strategic design solutions that achieve user and business goals.
Participate in formal and informal design critiques and give effective feedback to peers.
Skills Required

4+ years of web design experience in particular experience designing and creating banner ads.
Possess a command of typography, color, composition and hierarchy and the ability to utilize these elements to create optimal user design solutions.
Proven ability to produce multiple concepts for a project and to discern and articulate which idea to pursue.
Demonstrated ability to quickly produce consistently top-quality work despite tight deadlines.
Possess a strong command of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and various web-related optimization techniques.
Must be able to complete intermediate-level HTML coding for emails.
Portfolio (available for viewing) that demonstrates the objectives of projects and showcases strategy an execution of design solutions.

Skills Preferred
Healthcare industry experience a plus.
