Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Market Planning Manager to work for a biotech firm in South San Francisco. This individual will be responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of patient marketing initiatives by instituting best practices in direct-to-patient marketing for the Oncology group.
Responsibilities Include
Provide centralized expertise to brands by collaboration in the development and implementation of effective patient marketing strategies and programs.
Define the brand opportunity for direct-to-patient (DTP) marketing and recommend tactics to capitalize on this opportunity.
Manage brand’s patient marketing database vendor and other relevant vendors/agencies.
Partner with all other patient focused disciplines in order to assure consistency and efficiency in all communications to patients.
Collaborate in development and execution of integrated Consumer Marketing strategies and plans that deliver measurable value, and accomplish the goals and objectives of the key brand(s)
Partner across departments in developing patient insights, segmentation and other patient research
Applies the corporate principles, practices, and ethics involved in developing effective Consumer Marketing programs.
Skills Required
4 + years of marketing experience, including pharmaceutical marketing experience (Rx or OTC).
Experience in direct-to-patient or direct-to-consumer marketing development through execution.
Demonstrated abilities to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize and manage multiple projects, proactively define DTP opportunities, and effectively influence and communicate with internal and external partners.
Strategic planning and problem solving experience.
Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills.
Timing: 8 months, 40 hrs (5 days)
Start: 4/26/2010
Location: South San Francisco, CA, onsite
