We€ ’²re looking for a smart, excellent writer to join our corporate marketing team in San Francisco as Communications Manager. We are Wheelhouse Solutions (www.wheelhousesolu tions.com) , a leading provider of experiential marketing solutions comprised of three event and community-centric service companies: Champion Exposition Services (www.championexpo. com) Immersa Marketing (www.immersamarketi ng.com) , and George Fern Company (www.georgefern. com).
The ideal candidate likes to market our people, our wins, our innovative assets to help raise awareness and brand equity in our companies. This candidate has experience in marketing/producing events/trade shows, is a good writer, understands what Thought Leadership means and is excited to help drive Thought Leadership for our company.

Major responsibilities include:
€ ’µ Manage social media activities for brands including: Facebook, Twitter, and serve as the editor and main writer for a company blog
€ ’µ Write press releases and manage media pitches and news distribution; seek and submit industry award applications
€ ’µ Manage speaking opportunities including propose topics for pitching, pitch and attain speaking opportunities, assign internal executive, and aid in the creation of PowerPoint presentations
€ ’µ Create and manage thought leadership calendar comprised of targets, topics, dates, assigned executive, and opportunity type

Qualifications:
€ ’µ Minimum of 5 year€ ’²s Marketing experience; 1-2 years in PR
€ ’µ Must have at least one year of experience in tradeshows as an exhibitor or company that exhibits, or trade show organizer or producer
€ ’µ Demonstrate the ability to write compelling copy that gets our message across
€ ’µ An innate grasp of what makes a good story and how to sell it to the media
€ ’µ Superior organizational skills, with an eye for accuracy and consistency
€ ’µ Experience in service industry (intangible products) a plus
