Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Market Planning Manager to work for a biotech firm in South San Francisco. This individual will be responsible for supporting the disease area strategic initiative, portfolio and investment planning decision making.

Responsibilities Include
Perform pipeline simulations, portfolio performance benchmarking analysis and pipeline risk assessments.
Support development teams, functional area partners, and senior management to ensure the mix of development activities and allocation of resources meet client's business needs.
Manage risk for investment, prioritization and trade off development program.
Develop strategy on how to optimize product portfolio value, managing level of resources allocation.
Apply financial analysis while making recommendations.

Skills Required
5+ years of experience as a management consultant or investment banking analyst at a top tier firm.
Ability to draw insight form analytics, develop recommendations, and communicate in a clear, concise, and well-organized manner.
Must be able to work with ambiguities and uncertainties, have ability of turning questions or opportunities into value added deliverables with minimal instruction/supervision.
Advance degree in Sciences/Engineering or MBA.

Timing: 9+ months, 40 hrs (5 days) per week
Start: ASAP
Location: South San Francisco; onsite
Hourly rate: TBD as W-2; (n/a if S-Corp/LLC)
