Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Business Information Analyst Consultant to work for a large healthcare company in downtown San Francisco. Consultant will be responsible for developing business brief outlines and white-papers for certain healthcare specialties such as oncology, cardiology, spine, etc.

Responsibilities
Work effectively in the field gathering requirements and analyzing physician data to assess the variability and provide insights for improvement areas.
Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems (report writing and database management) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of information for planning and decision making.
Work across departments to evaluate software and hardware needs, and coordinate retrieval and reporting functions.
Design new or modify existing systems/databases to meet changing demands.
May serve as department liaison to MIS/IT function.
Consult and make recommendations to management on significant issues.

Skills Required
5+ years of business analysis and data analysis experience within the healthcare industry.
Solid technical knowledge and experience in one or more primary products, programs or technologies.
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex cross-functional problems related to business operations and statistical analysis methodology.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.

Timing: 9 months, 40 hrs (5 days) per week
Start: ASAP
Location: San Francisco; onsite
Hourly rate: TBD as W-2; (TBD if S-Corp/LLC)
