Large Government, DOD Contract Position

Analysis of requirement documents to define tests necessary to verify stated requirements for the software item.
Resolve requirement testability issues with specification author
Prepare requirements for test support hardware and software necessary for verification of requirements and coordinate implementation of test environment with software development team
Document test environment to include software and hardware necessary for verification of requirements
Define test cases necessary to verify stated requirements per published test engineering process
Verify correct implementation and instillation of test environment
Implement fully automated test cases in NI Test Stand programming language
Download and install engineering releases of code on test computers
Download and install test environment code on test computers
Run periodic overnight tests on engineering releases of product code
Perform analysis of log files and notify development of discrepant behavior
Run customer and SQA witnessed tests final release of product code
Prepare problem reports on any discrepant behavior and participate in troubleshooting.
Perform verification of corrective actions.
Prepare final test report
Conduct peer review of work products
Archive test logs and test data with configuration management tool
Develop low fidelity I/O simulations of interfacing software items to support requirement verification
Configure network communications and troubleshoot communications problems.
