Sage Consulting Associates is looking for a Process Redesign
Consultant to work for a healthcare insurance company in San
Francisco. Consultant will be responsible for the business
processes focused on pharmacy claims processing.

Responsibilities Include
* Provide recommendations to the Project Team and Executives
on approach for documentation, analysis and redesign (documents
may include job aids such as forms, checklists, process flows,
policies and procedures, reports, dashboards, etc.).
* Gather all existing documents and ensure formatting and
style of documentation is consistent with agreed to approach.
* Develop process documentation inventory/repositor y and
inventory all existing documents, working directly with subject
matter experts within organization and external vendors.
* Finalize the revised, existing process documents with
Project Leads and Business Mgrs.
* Document and inventory remaining processes.
* Finalize remaining process documents.
* Perform analysis to identify easy process fixes and longer
term fixes.
* Work with Project Leaders & Mgrs, who will finalize and
prioritize recommendations
* Implement fixes (including updating process docs), audit/
monitor process changes to ensure adoption occurs and produce
reports on progress.
Skills Required
* 6+ years of experience doing business process work,
including analysis and implementing process re-design.
* Must have change management experience.
* Experience utilizing any of the following methodologies:
lean thinking, six sigma, ISO, capability maturity modeling,
Malcolm Baldrige, etc.
* MS Office applications (including Visio) in a live meeting
environment through web conferencing.
* Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
Skills Preferred
* Experience in claims processes.

Timing: 7 months, 40 hrs (5 days) per week
Start: ASAP
Location: San Francisco; onsite
Hourly rate: $60-$67 as W-2; ($69-$77 if S-Corp/LLC)
